Every day, I have to wake up at exactly 5 am, sleep in til 5:05, take a shower from 5:10 to 5:45, do my hair from 5:45 to 6, have breakfast from 6 to 6:20 and leave for school at exactly 6:28.
At school, I need my locker organised. It has to be arranged by height and number. My notebook has my class schedules, and its colour coded. There are post its on the first page with the same colour as the class it corresponds to. My school uniform has a neck tie. I have to make sure it’s in place at all times. If i see other people’s lockers and neckties and anything else that’s not in order, i have to fix it. I can’t control myself. If our English teacher makes ur write essays, I have to check my work again and again because I can’t stand seeing wrong grammars and typos. I also have to make sure that my laptop’s screen is clean and has got to scratches. My clothes are arranged according to colour and my shoes are arranged according to the kind. And when I was younger, (and sometimes, until now) I used to count everything. From the lines on the ceiling, the steps i take, the number of people in the picture, and lots of other things. I also have to arrange all my guitars/basses in order. Fender Strat, Squier Stratacoustic, Classical, Epiphone Eb-0, Gibson SG, then Gibson les Paul. All my perfumes have to be arranged in this order, Elizabeth arden, elizabeth arden, Dolce and Gabbana,DKNY, DKNY, victoria’s secret and then burberry. I also And when i go to bed, my pillows have to be arranged in a specific order. Also, whatever i do to one side, i have to do to the other. Like for example, I’m walking and i accidentally hit my right foot on the step, i have to do the exact same thing to the left. -These are just some things that i do. I’m not so sure, if i’ve got OCD, or if this is nothing. So yeah. I was just wondering.
You could have a disorder except I highly doubt it.
It may just be habit of yours.
Organising isn’t a disorder neither is counting junk.
I used to think that I had a disorder because practically every planet/tree I went past I had to pick a leaf or twig from it but I grew out of it.
You might just grow out of it.
Hope it Helps!!

The only things that really are big warning signs of ocd would be the counting, which you say you don’t do anymore, and the touch symmetry (which you described last). A lot of people are very particular about the way they do things, but that’s not necessarily tied in to OCD. You may have obsessive compulsive behaviors, which is not the same as the disorder.
If you are really worried about it and it’s starting to bother you, definitely talk to your doctor. There are behavioral therapies and medicines you can take to help relieve you from the symptoms of OCD. And trust me, they’re worth it.
