I wear Versace Blonde when I go out and act fancy (usually it's Bath & Body all the way, but sometimes you gotta step it up). I have worn it to parties and been complimented all night, then woken up in the morning (ok, more like early afternoon sometimes lol) and still smelled nice. I will say, it is one of those perfumes that doesn't work well with certain body chemistries – my best friend wore it once and had to go shower because it reacted oddly and smelled kind of sickly sweet. But on me it's got like a flowery rich scent that I find quite sexy.
You might want to go to a perfume store or perfume counter in a department store and just smell stuff. They'll ask you questions about what you're looking for and what kinds of scents you like, and then work with you to find the right one.

Even though I hate Britney Spears I do like her perfume Fantasy. It lasts a long time and every guy who has smelt it on me has told me I smell good. Also anything from Victoria Secret lasts a while.
Burberry is my other favorite. You wont have to go out and buy a new perfume bottle for a while because you only need one or two squirts for the day.

Rather than a perfume, go find yourself a scented oil (New Age shops generally have them). Oils last way longer than perfume, cuz perfume is based on alcohol, which dries out quickly.
