My daughter smells like mold. She is very clean, takes showers daily, brushes her teeth, washes and dries her hair. She thought it was the fragrance she was using for the shower and washing her hair with but she still smells that way after discontinuing use. Could anyone help me? No idea what could be causing this.

No idea what could be causing this. It isn't that clothes are left to long in the washer or dryer, because no one else smells this way. I haven't checked her closet though. Should do that I guess.
Is she leaving her laundry in the washing machine too long? That can cause someone to smell like mold. Her clothes will start to make her body smell too.

it be mold- check her toes for tinnea- has she gone to a sleepover and had a shower at someone's place recently? shared showers+no flip-flops/thongs(I'm not tryin 2 B rude, that's wat i call them in Australia) = tinnea/foot infections!!

"Curios" is right. If you do leave your laundry or towels in the washer or drier for too long it can make it smell terrible just like mold. Try re-washing all of the stuff that was left in the drier/washer again and don't leave it there for long. This has happened to me before. If you do this and it does no difference then I seriously suggest you go see a doctor. There are often strange diseases. But definitely check her clothes, bedding, towels and so on, I'm pretty sure it could be that.

It could be her clothes. The odor of her closet or drawers could be the cause of the "moldy" aroma that you smell. In addition to that, it is a great idea for her to take the chlorophyll tablets that you can purchase at GNC. It rids the body of odor internally.

Does she keep clothes in a locker at school, a gym, at work? That could be the cause. Check out the mattress, mattress pad and pillow on her bed. We live in a beach town and our mattress pad gets a little musty from time to time.

I'm sorry to conclude such an obvious answer, but I'm afraid in most cases the stench of mold coming from a human body is a genetic disorder. Have you considered going to a GYN? Maybe it's a vaginal disfunction.
