What is a good type of top Designer Purfume?

I'm trying to find a new Designer scent and need help!

It has to be a fresh/light/clean fragrance. Nothing heavy or spicy, nothing that reminds you of grandma, and no baby powder smells. My other requirement is that it be fairly unheard of/ new. ( I don't want to smell it on other people everywhere I go. erf!) Also I want to find something that you only find at nice boutiques, and not the low end malls or target. eerf!

Extra points if its a top designer ( French or Italian preferred).

I used to use "Angel" by Thierry Muglar. Sadly I don't want to use it any more. I can't stand the smell on other people AT ALL, it makes me sick. (and its too… cheap/tacky now. I've seen it being sold at Target. Good Grief!).

I was tempted to try D&G "light blue" but I know too many people who wear that one.

Oh and none from "mid range" over-used designers (Like: RL & CK )

Right now, I LOVE Calvin Klein Euphoria.
I know you said you didn't want any of the "over-used" designers but this one smells so great. I get comments all day long. Every one thinks it's Dolce & Gabbana. This one is relatively new and everyone who asks about it says they've never heard of it. Men love it too, so you can't go wrong. I work with realtors all day and they always ask if they can bottle it because they think my smell will help sell the house???

  2. You wanna a Perfume that is So Delightful it will Amaze you? That would be, Pink Peony by Perlier. It has such a light Bouquet and People will be asking you Alot, " What Perfume is that"? I do not know if it's French or Italian, but by the Name of the Designer, I suspect French.

  6. There are a few classic ones and because they are older they are not trendy so not many people wear them – I hate that!

My favorites are really anything by Givenchy – expecially Amarige, and I love White Linen.

  8. My favorite perfume personally is j'adore by christian dior (french lol). I get compliments everywhere I go. LOL I even got a compliment by the cashier at a grocery store. He went, "wow… you smell so good." Also, my friend wears a brand called bvlgari. I know, strange spelling. It's an italian perfume in a pink bottle. Both of these perfumes are very light smelling and very pretty. I also hate old lady scents. Now the last one I'm in love with is called Chanel Allure which is also french. I also get many compliments on that. If you're looking for something citrusy which I think is nice for summer during the day, I really like origins. The have one that smells like oranges but not sickeningly sweet. That's not some big designer thing though. It's only 30 some dollars. But I don't care. I like it. Hope this helps. Good luck.
