i had the same …
i had the same problem sharpening!! mine fit but it was sooo gooey the tip kept breaking off in the sharpener. and i didnt wear them out to the club, and they were so soft i think they would just melt down my face in the heat and sweat. such a drag :-/ and it creased so much. i think im going to return them and just buy another tube of shadow insurance

just in case you’re still looking for a jumbo pencil sharpener, try the jumbo sharpener from Benefit. it’s like four dollars and it works great =D

i actually heard …
i actually heard opposite reviews. i heard the mac shadestick has to be warmed up and it’s hard to immediately use it on your lids. i use the nyx pencils and had no creasing/chalky/fading problems.

maybe i’ll try a shadestick when i can get some extra money :p

omg wow 4.95?? here …
omg wow 4.95?? here in CA 4.99 is a nyx trio&those are 1.99. also they dont krease if you use a kreame shadow paint from loreal :]

i wished i would have seen this coz i bought like 5 of those jumbo pencils and i dont really like them. I agree with everything you said. Also, they tend to crease uughh…

I haven’t tried the …
I haven’t tried the MAC shadestick, but have heard that they are more difficult to put on because you have to warm them before they will glide at all. I DO however use the NYX jumbos, and I LOVE them. In fact, I have a pretty large collection of NYX and love most of it. There are a couple items that I wouldn’t recommend, but it’s all personal preference.

The sharpener that …
The sharpener that you got at Sally Beauty Supply Store,the Beautique you can actually take that red round circle from that big hole to make it even bigger so you’re NYX jumbo pencil could fit and you can sharpen it…hope that helps =) so basically it has 3 different sizes!

u should check the …
u should check the bigger opening on the sharpener sometimes it has an insert in it fot bigger pencils that are too small for the bigger opening. just take that insert out and it should fit.

yeah, i basically contradicted what i said! my bad. But what I meant was that the NYX is just chalky. If you notice closely in the peacock tutorial you’ll get what i mean
