What a week, went on a 14 hr bus ride with greyline to see Hoover dam and Southern rim of Grand canyon, helicopter ride over the strip at night, Outlet shopping, Neon Lights tour, ride in a limosine, New York New York Rollercoaster,checking out all the casinos, and seeing a show at MGM Cirque Sol Kars !

I paid for a dvd of our helicopter ride, even with my camera I couldnt really show how amazing the strip is from high up so now I just have to wait to recieve it via mail. We soon discovered that by going to a buffet 45 mins before the next meal we could capitalise on two meals, ie pay for breakfast and stay for lunch, pay for lunch and stay for tea, by day 3 I was pigging out of vegies just to get the old poo train working, i seem to bung up on holiday, maybe its the plane trip that dehydrates you enough to crack ya lips outside and wipe out ya fluids inside?.

The grand canyon 14 hr bus ride was amazing, we saw Bolder city and was fully into cowboy country before finally arriving at the most photographed location of the Canyon the southern rim, it is a truly amazing experience and definately one of the seven wonders of the world.

The outlet shopping was simply me gorging myself of discount items, a handbag tshirts and jacket from the Nike outlet, 4 bottles of perfume from the discount perfume shop, and a pair of tommy hillinger shoes from the shoe shops among many of the items I dragged back to the hotel room after our fill. The south end outlet is apparently the best by far for cheap cheap cheap and only a 10min cab fair from MGM, we tipped everyone who helped us and they all seemed really grateful. ( probably over tipped but we were only there 6 days so why not lol )

I adored walking the strip at night, the lights and casinos are just so out of this world for a little aussie girl, I could have spent the entire night just walking around but Jac needed sleep so we didnt. Personally I found sleep not interesting while there and struggled to find it, I swear I ran on not just one second wind but several every single day! I can sleep at home I didnt want to sleep in Vegas, far too much stimulation around. We saw the show at the Rio Casino while on our neon lights tour and I just loved Fremont Street, I had two 99C shrimp tails ( as ya do) and my senses overloaded on neon lights. Our tour guide was a local and he was full of interesting information and made sure we sure as much as we could in the 5 hrs the tour lasted. We went up the Paris Eiffel tower and watched the water show from high up, drank in the neon burning lights and bought several items from the gift store there. During the day we went to the Stratosphere and watched adrenalum junkies do the insane rides from floor 111, as brave as I am the New York rollercoaster is my style, too fast to worry about the height, and man I am a rollercoaster junkie so that was my thrill as far as rides. We got the Deuce bus $5.00 for a 24hr ticket and made our way down to the Sahara slowly working our way back up and our backpacks grew heavier with each stop we shopped at. Love the Venician, the gondolas inside and out, the adorned celings and attention to detail was just amazing. Caesars palace was where we discovered Victorias secret and watched the statue shoes with all the other visitors to Vegas, this place is just crazy. For the small amount of time we were there we milked every single moment and even did a limosine ride for an hour at night checking out the wedding chapels.
