I have a bottle of Bath and Body Works 'Turn of the Century' Body Wash that I love. I've written to the company a couple times to ask if they'll be bringing that scent out again. They always steer me to one of their current scents, but that doesn't help me a bit. I need a compounding perfumery, but I don't know where to find one, if such a thing exists.
1. A lot of companies will bring back a scent if enough people are clamoring for it (they see $$$). So if you have a lot of friends, have them write, email or call and ask for the same thing. They may change their tune.
2. The Vermont Country Store sometimes is able to obtain products that other places can't. It reproduces scents and items for their customers if there are enough persons asking for something that has been discontinued.
I used to wear "Desert Flower" cologne years ago. It was my absolute favorite! The company that made it is no longer in business (Sheldon, Inc.).
I inquired at The Vermont Country Store (vermontcountrystore.com). They didn't have it then. About a year later, I noticed they had it (they had reproduced it for their customers, probably because other customers were asking for it, also. I got it on sale for $10.
It was gross. It didn't smell like the original. It smelled like a cheap copy.
I give them a lot of credit for trying (for instance, they have "Evening in Paris" (the original) which they procure from overseas now.
3. The only other suggestion I have is to go to a chemist and have him analyze the ingredients and try to reproduce it.
It will be very expensive to do this. It may smell the same. It may not.
Hope this helps.

The places I have heard of are creative scentualization, http://www.creativescent.com. Also le labo, http://www.lelabofragrances.com. It will not be cheap though, and most are in the major cities.

Have had the same problem
Where you live do you have a large mall? Most of the larger mall's have perfumery's and they will custom blend for you. My friend works at B&B I called her for you and she just tried to look up your scent in classics. They don't list it. Is actually called Turn of the Century?
