Im not a guy but have a strong opinion on scents.
I think a girl should always smell sweet, but light and feminine. you dont want to smell like your gran! You want to captivate the guys senses but wearing a subtle but alluring smell that he will catch a whiff of as you float by him.
Whenever he smells that fragrance he will think of you.
Nice smelling fragrances are hard to pinpoint as as fragrance smells different on each wearer. this is due to different skin reactions and skin pores. Always test the fragrance on the area you wish to wear it before you buy (eg: neck, not hand). Dont ever buy a perfume without trying it on yourself, just because it smelt good on your mate.
Perfumes that go well with myself are Emporio Armani – She and Paul Smith Woman.

i like a scent on a woman that is light and subtle to the sense of smell, but when you get close smells wonderfull and fantastic. As of right now their is a perfume at Victorias Secret that, when you open the box, it whistles, one of my favorite perfumes to smell on a girl.

I absolutely agree with the first poster. Too much of anything is awful. You know how people don't like Axe when guys use a ton of it? Same with perfume.
I'm a fan of the girly fragrance. My girlfriend has sweet pea body spray, which I love, but would never admit to her lol.
I also like the smell of D&G femenine. Once again, I can't be telling people these things. I gotta keep my rep up.

not like very strong but strong enough that when you sit next to a person you can smell it.
i personally like the escada perfumes. and the JLo LUXE perfume is very good smelling. its very fruity and not too strong.

With all perfume its very much down to the individual as to what fragrance one can wear and actually smell nice with it.
Depending on your own chemical make up depends what perfume is suited to you, some women can wear lots of strong perfume and carry it off with easy but the same perfume on someone else could smell terrible.
So at the moment i quite like the original Lacoste as its what my girlfriend wears and it suits her. I have in the past liked Issey Miyake, Tommy H & Coco Chanel.
