Where can I get someone to replicate a discontinued perfume?

Hi. My favorite perfume was discontinued and there's nothing else I really love. I was wondering where can I get someone to recreate this discontinued perfume? Thanks in advance.

I make bath and body products and I so happen to make perfumes. I can find duplicates of most perfumes out there, I make roll-ons, lotions, sprays, you name it. You can contact me via email with the name of the perfume and I will let you know if I can make it and I will send you a sample and a price.

  1. Why don't you try writing to the company that makes the perfume and tell them you love the discontinued perfume and is there anything similar they may have in their stock or is the perfume likely to come back into their stock in the future…..Hey its worth a try isn't it?

If so anywhere near the cotswolds?
Bourton on the water has a perfumery.
Here you can select scents that suit you.
And they will make up a scent specially for you
On top of that it is totally exclusive and can be replicated over and over again.
Get him to treat you :-)

  6. open up ur own perfume line and make the perfumes smell exactly how u like them. lol just kidding… well, there are some stores that may still hav some of those left. ask at a local perfume store if sum1 can check the warehouse for extras, or write 2 the company with a petition signed by others who love this perfume

  7. There are lots of independent perfume makers ( you can look them up on yahoo.) If you have a bit of your perfume left, send them a sample and see if they can recreate it especially for you. (or you can contact the company that made your scent and ask them what was the scents they used to make the perfume.) Special orders like that are common and they usually keep orders like that on file in case you need more or if someone else is looking for the same scent.

This one is located in Chicago and they can do special orders like that.

Actually a lot of ebay sellers have stuff like this to sell, I bought discontinued candles on ebay, and bought every one I found because I knew I would not be able to get it from the store I usually do.

Most likely, the clerk or shopkeeper can replicate it through mixing their perfume oils. They might own a huge book that tells you the ingredients of popular perfumes.
The best part is, the scent won't be diluted and will last longer because it's made with essential oils.

why don't ask them if they do it by order?

Chemistry majors deal with qualitative and quantitative analyses, so if you have some of the perfume left, perhaps a faculty member in the chemistry department of a nearby college or university could make a class project out of discovering how much of what is in it, or offer it as one of several out-of-class assignments.

I suggest this instead of hiring a chemist because a chemist may charge a great deal.

We can easily duplicate any scent you desire. Problem is, it would cost us to do it. You would have to purchase approximately $3,000.00 USD worth for it to be worth our while.

So, you can probably go to e-bay and buy your prefume. It would be illegal to replicate (which means to re-make) because whomever made this prefume is the only person who has the rights to it.

    Happy New Year's!

    Goodluck

They are a mail order catalog company and they have helped out people like you in the past. I have heard of people contacting them about discontinued items and they were either able to find the items somewhere in the world or start making their own. It is worth a shot. Look them up and contact them as soon as possible.

Did you try to find it on E-bay? Check there. Otherwise there is a store called Perfumania and they sell discounted perfumes there. I once wanted this scent called Moscachino or however you spell it but by the time i lived near a Macy's they didn't have it. I went to Perfumania and they did. They get a lot of extra warehouse stock and stuff so they usually have anything and everything your looking for. Otherwise, yea check Ebay because you can find anything on Ebay :P

  37. Go to the mall and try to find a Bath & Bodyworks store, there they can make any fragrance you want out of mixing anything of their WIDE variety of scents and sometimes even match to the "T" what scent you're trying to replicate that got discontinued. It will help if you have a little sample left of what it is you're trying to remake, or even just bring the bottle and they'll go off the scent left on the spray tip. If there isn't a Bath Bodyworks by you, I'm sure that you can go online to their site and see if there's one within the vacinity of where you're at. Or they can suggest another store that they hold under a different name that may be the duplicate of themselves.
Goodluck! But just to let you know, you can go and it depends on the personality of the person that you get that helps you whether they're going to really help you or they may just leave you hanging to mix and figure it out on your own. but they're usually very helpful especially when it comes to making the custom fragrance offer that they are pretty well kknown for. other wise, I'd go to perfume knock off sites or even to your local Target or Wal Mart and look to see if there's a knockoff for you fragrance you're looking for and hooked on.

Been to B&BWorks for my 18th birthday years ago with my first boyfriend and got a custom line of perfume and lotions and oils made on the spot that lasted forever (LONGER THAN THE RELATIONSHIP ITSELF!!!), and they have pretty reasonable pricing depending on how many are mixed in to make your custom find!

  38. Uncommon Scents will make a custom scent for you if you can tell them exactly what you want. There are some re-creations that I like better than the "originals" because they use such good quality oil for their perfume oils. It smells better, lasts longer on and has a great shelf life. You can look at their most popular scents and combinations on line, but for a custom fragrance you have to call (I'm sure the number is on their website). You can also get custom scented bath products. The perfumed body lotion is as good as their perfume oils. They also offer the same fragrances water based. (BTW I don't work for them. I just love their scents!)

  39. I love Escada Sunni Fruiti and it was only limited edition years ago. Luckily, thanks to the internet…we have a whole world out there to help us get discontinued products. Most of the time when a product is discontinued, the store puts the remaining bottles out highly discounted and people snatch it up and resell. If you go to a pharmacy and see a bunch of one product at the front of an aisle or a "sale" shelf with a bunch of other things, that's most likely what happened…discontinued.

Look on eBay and try different search terms. I'm positive that you'll find it. You can buy several bottles and use them individually or decanter them. You can also try wholesaler websites.

Which perfume is it? There's also a bunch of the market that smell very similar to others. For example, I don't have the money right now to buy my favourite, Ralph by Ralph Lauren (which I just ran out of) but there is a very, very similar scent by Rimmel (in a pink bottle). They smell almost identical and the Rimmel costs $10 compared to $60.

  40. In Salt Lake City , Utah, at the University Pharmacy is a man by the name of Richard. He is a compounder, and if you have a bit of your favorite perfume left, Richard will have his team break it down and he'll probably be able to duplicate it for you.
So Google: University Pharmacy, Salt Lake City, Utah. It's on 2nt South, I believe, and call Richard. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

  41. uggh clinique simply (whimper) unless you have big bucks and want to create a new perfume, your best bet would be a place like "the body shop" that has perfume scents that u can mix, but there is no guarantee that u can decipher the scents yourself. I am going to try to find my perfume on ebay.
