Does anybody know if Creed Royal English Leather smells anything like Dana English Leather? (Similar type of fragrance? Of course I would expect the Creed to be way higher quality. Otherwise it would be a terrible rip off.)

I have had bad experiences on ebay when it comes to Creed. I received two fake Green Irish Tweeds from there, so that teaches me not to trust ebay again for any fragrances. I usually get Creed samples directly from Neiman Marcus. They spray the samples from the tester bottle to a little sample tube. I’m thinking about going there today for those samples.

You should buy the samples on ebay they are about 1.99 each. Green Irish Tweed smells a lot like Aspen, good scent but too expensive. Millesime Imperial Smells a lot like Sean Jean’s Unforgivable but it is way more elegant. My favorite is Silver Mountain Water. It is like Chrome on steroids. I payed seventy dollars for a two once bottle on ebay. If I could only buy the 150 dollar 4 ounce bottle I would. If you like Chrome you will love SMW. But try the samples on ebay first.

I have found Fragrancenet to be a reputable site from which to purchase authentic Creed fragrances online. I have two more on the way since I did that update video. I’m going with Bois Du Portugal like you recommended me a long time ago and Acier Aluminum. I wore a sample of Aluminum to work for a few days and fell in love with it.

Okay. I went to Neiman Marcus the other week and got a sample of Acier Aluminum because I remembered your comment on this video. I wore it to work for a few days to test it out and now I am loving this scent. I guess I have somewhat of a fondness for metallic scents. It’s definitely different and stands out. I ordered some from Fragrancenet so it should be in some time this week. Thanks for the recommendation.

I thought I had already replied to this comment but I guess I didn’t. I found out the hard way about fake Creeds. I ended up getting two fake Green Irish Tweeds, one of which I was able to send back. They came from Ebay and I should’ve known better. Fragrancenet is a reputable online site that sells authentic Creeds although they may be a little dated. By the way, my favorite Creeds so far are Green Irish Tweed, Himalaya, and now Acier Aluminum. I have a Bois Du Portugal on the way.

I think you need to be careful about buying Creeds because they are often faked. Bois du Portugal and Original Vetiver are my favorite men’s fragrances by Creed.

I was wondering about that because why would that one site sell cologne outside of the box? Sounded shady to me too. I don’t know if there is a boutique here that I can go to in person, but I will research and see what I can find. I will definitely invest in at least one bottle for now.

Brother…thanks heaps for the reply! I’ll hit you up asap. Just a quick word for now though…be wary of Creeds online etc. I can’t speak from personal experience…but I’m sure there’s something dodgy going on. Apparently…Creed only send stock to exclusive boutiques…and not online shops!?
