   I am from the States actually, I am living in California at this point. Yea definately check them out; I know Serge Lutens and Amouage use a lot of natural ingredients and are of very high quality. Do they have Barney’s or Saks in Australia? They usually offers the best selections and usually the SA’s are knowledgable and patient.

    You are 100% accurate my friend. LOL. Mugler’s is a little much soapier and does not have that almost peppery bite to it. Also, Mugler is an EDC so it is pretty weak and has serious longevity issues. Guerlain, Vetiver is pretty nice though very clean, soapy, but it has this peppermint (?) note that balances it out very nicely. Also, Serge Lutens makes a very nice Vetiver called “Oriental Vetiver,” wow it is amazing.

    Hehe, do I sense the implication that you were trying to test my knowledge of Creed?

    I’ve not tried Mulger Cologne or Guerlain’s rendition of Vetiver. I have Yardley’s Vetyver…but not a HUGE fan of it.

    I also use the basenotes site…but am not a member!

    Thought you would say that, LOL. Kinda figured you meant that. What do you think about “Vetiver?” I own “OV” and think it is wonderful, similar to Mulger Cologne, but IMHO much nicer. How do you feel about Guerlain “Vetiver?” It is pretty good but has some different mint notes in the opening. Take care,

    Ironically enough…there was a Creed Vetiver cologne which came out LONG before the ‘Original’ Vetiver. You’re correct…the “Original Vetiver” came out in 2004…but there was one simply named “Vetiver” which was around over 30 years ago

    It is the ONLY one available to me that I don’t own! I wasn’t a huge fan to be honest…but it may grow on me! I will probably get it anyways, just for the collection!
